Position Description:
We are seeking a highly-motivated, mechanically inclined Production Operator with a growth mindset who enjoys a dynamic, hands on, field-based work environment. You will be responsible for working in the field with other teams to perform repairs, perform preventative maintenance on existing equipment. Gauge production on assigned wells and record gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information into the production system. Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; trim weeds, clean up trash, etc.; grease pumping units, service lease equipment, etc. Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; monitor chemical use; test safety systems daily to maximize production. Utilize SCADA to monitor and evaluate well performance and facility status, respond to SCADA alarms if required.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Must have acceptable driving record for Company motor vehicle insurance. Must live within 50 mile radius of Stanley, ND Two years of Experience in oil and gas or other manufacturing/industrial business. Capability to troubleshoot and repair industry components such as level controllers, displacement valves, switches, controls, pumps, vessels, and flare systems, Artificial lift knowledge regarding gas lift compression, ESP's, Rod Pump Comfortable working with high pressure systems up to 3,000psi.
