Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. We are seeking a safety-focused and dependable Haul Truck Driver to join our quarry operations team. In this role, you will support the production process by transporting raw materials throughout the quarry while contributing to a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. What You'll Be Doing Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the quarry. Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Follow established traffic patterns, safety procedures, and operational guidelines. Communicate effectively with plant and quarry personnel to support production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area while promoting a culture of safety. What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and responsibly. Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company policies and procedures. Strong communication and teamwork skills in a production environment. Ability to inspect equipment, identify issues, and report concerns promptly. Dependability, adaptability, and willingness to work in a fast-paced outdoor setting. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
