Job Overview Join our team as an Underground Equipment Operator. You will operate a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and precise underground operations. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your mechanical skills, and work with cutting-edge equipment. Responsibilities Operate heavy underground equipment. rock trucks, water trucks, small diameter drills, front end loaders to facilitate mining needs. Conduct routine inspections, greasing, and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Follow MSHA safety protocols during all phases of operation to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards. Assist in blasting activities by setting up loading area, and supporting the Blaster in charge. Collaborate with team members to coordinate with efficient Crusher/plant operation Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including Valid driver's license Skilled in operating a range of mining equipment including excavators, drills, loaders, backhoes, cranes, and farm machinery. Knowledge of MSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and site protocols. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and perform basic repairs when necessary.
