TRACKHOE OPERATOR
position with our Northern Middle TN Construction team, located in Gallatin, TN . This role will work with our grading and site-prep crew doing utility work and larger scale earth-moving projects. The successful candidate for this position will be an experienced trackhoe operator, and they must have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
JOB DETAILS
Full- Time Day Shift Location:
Northern Middle TN (Gallatin, TN) Wages starting at $24.00/hr based on experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate a trackhoe and other heavy equipment - such as a dozer, haul truck, roller, or skid steer to complete utility and grading work. Ability to operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill and proficiency and in challenging and unique terrain environments. Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management. Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Effective communication skills applicable to position. Properly follow all company policies and
OSHA / MSHA
/ Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years of experience operating a large size track hoe, such as a Komatsu 490 or similar, is required. Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Ability to learn new tasks quickly. Pass pre-employment drug screen. Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed. Previous experience operating other pieces of heavy construction equipment is preferred. Rogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.
