Perform manual labor to prepare newly acquired land and existing quarry property for future quarry operations, including clearing brush, weeds, vines, grass, shrubs, small saplings, undergrowth, and other overgrown vegetation from designated work areas; removing fallen branches, loose rocks, sticks, leaves, and other natural debris and obstructions; and gathering, dragging, bundling, stacking, and removing cleared vegetation and organic materials. Establish and maintain unimproved dirt access paths and entry and exit routes throughout the property by clearing vegetation and debris from designated travel routes and keeping these access routes clear for site access. These duties are performed by hand and with hand and groundskeeping tools, including loppers, pruning shears, brush hooks, mattocks, hand saws, pruning saws, rakes, shovels, hoes, pitchforks, wheelbarrows, hand carts, ropes, and tarps. This work does not involve grading, excavating, leveling, loading earth, road or roadbed construction, or the operation of heavy construction equipment. Collect, sort, carry, load, unload, move, stack, and place materials, tools, supplies, debris, litter, trash, scrap materials, and waste by hand and using wheelbarrows, hand carts, hand trucks, dollies, buckets, tarps, ropes, shovels, rakes, trash grabbers, and similar manual material-handling tools. Clean existing buildings, storage sheds, work shelters, storage areas, and other site structures, and clean and maintain walkways and other grounds features, by sweeping and removing dirt, dust, leaves, cobwebs, litter, and debris. These duties are performed using push brooms, corn brooms, dust mops, dustpans, cleaning brushes, cleaning cloths, buckets, and nonspecialized cleaning supplies. Receive and follow oral instructions to determine daily work assignments; maintain neat and orderly work areas and tool and equipment storage areas; follow all company and site safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment; and perform other closely related general labor and groundskeeping duties as assigned.No educational or experience required.
