#IND123•Skilled jobs 1st Class and 2nd Class Riggers , for work in Mobile, Alabama. Riggers are responsible for setting up, inspecting, operating, maintaining, and breaking down rigging equipment used to move heavy machinery and materials safely. The position includes attaching and controlling loads, aligning and leveling equipment, selecting the proper rigging gear, and coordinating with the construction and rigging teams.

Primary responsibilities:

Inspect and prepare loads for movement. Set, align, and level heavy equipment and machinery. Select the appropriate rigging equipment. Prepare beams, pulleys, clamps, bolts, and related gear. Inspect rigging before and after use. Maneuver loads by hand and with heavy equipment. Maintain rigging equipment in safe working condition. Follow OSHA, company, and state safety procedures. Use basic rigging hand signals. Communicate clearly with the rigging and construction teams. Work safely at heights and in noisy industrial environments.

Requirements:

Previous rigging experience is required. Updated résumé is required. Knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards. Ability to use basic rigging hand signals. Strong vision, hearing, and mathematical skills. Ability to work at heights, overtime, and weekends.

Work schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Approximately 70 hours per week , including weekends.

Class Rigger:

$23.00•29.00 per hour 2nd

Class Rigger:

$18.25•23.00 per hour Final class and compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, evaluation, and interview.
