We are looking for a qualified full-time rigger who is reliable, honest, and motivated to join our team. Responsibilities The rigger safely moves, lifts, and installs heavy rigging equipment or materials. Set up, inspect, and operate rigging equipment to secure loads for lifting operations. Coordinate with crane operators and lift directors to plan lifts, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Must be capable of communicating directions to the crane operator via standard crane hand signals or radios. Attach rigging gear such as slings, hooks, chains, shackles, and other hardware to loads accurately and securely. Conduct thorough inspections of rigging gear and lifting equipment before each use to identify wear or damage. Follow all OSHA safety standards and construction workplace safety regulations during rigging activities. Handle materials with care using appropriate techniques for shipping & receiving areas or construction sites. Assist in the setup and break-down of cranes and associated equipment. Assist in maintenance of equipment. Maintain detailed records of lifts performed, safety checks completed, and equipment used to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications 3 years crane rigging and signaling experience minimum. Experience with mobile cranes preferred. Crane maintenance experience preferred. Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL preferred). Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk, bend, crawl, push, pull, climb, and stand for long periods. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen. Home almost every night.
