About the Role Edwards Moving & Rigging is looking for skilled Rigging Foremen to lead site activities, manage team members and machinery, foster positive client relationships, and guarantee that every task is performed safely and productively. You will be responsible for upholding company protocols and will report to the Project Superintendent. Key Responsibilities Direct daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to crew members to maximize personnel and equipment productivity for on-time delivery. Implement and uphold operational protocols, safety guidelines, and corporate policies to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Perform comprehensive project scoping, determine specific requirements, and create detailed timelines for project execution. Oversee the daily operational flow and scope of active projects. Collaborate with clients and internal staff to organize project timelines and manage the logistics of equipment mobilization. Determine necessary machinery for specific tasks and work with dispatch to ensure timely arrival at the job site. Foster consistent communication between the office and clients to ensure project planning and execution remain seamless. Take responsibility for safety compliance, including performing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to help reduce workplace risks and ensure adherence to industry standards. Required Qualifications This role requires a significant amount of travel. Prior experience or knowledge regarding strand jacks, gantry systems, jack-and-slide setups, and unified jacking systems is highly preferred. Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to foster effective collaboration with both clients and team members. Fluency in reading and speaking English is required to navigate safety-sensitive sites like nuclear plants and complete necessary training. Candidates must possess a clean criminal background and participate in recurring drug and alcohol screening programs. Physical Requirements and Work Setting Tasks are conducted in outdoor settings exposed to varying weather conditions. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis.
