Pile Driving Foreman Key Responsibilities Sets the plan for the day and makes sure the crew can execute it without waiting Drives production

• keeps the crane, hammer, and crew moving with no dead time Sequences piles, crane moves, and setup to minimize resets and wasted motion Watches blow counts, penetration, and refusal in real time and makes the call Catches problems early (bad soils, obstructions, misalignment) before they turn into rework Keeps piles within tolerance

• clear roles, no confusion, tight communication with the operator Owns rigging and lift safety
• ensures all lifts are performed safely and to standard Coordinates constantly with survey, superintendent, and inspector so work doesn't stall Manages equipment like it's money
• no avoidable downtime, no abuse Tracks what actually happened each day (production, delays, issues) Flags changes immediately when conditions differ
• doesn't let money get buried Looks ahead so tomorrow is ready before today ends (materials, access, sequence) Enforces all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations on the job site Mentors and develops crew members to build overall team capability Runs a safe, productive pile driving operation that meets production targets without constant oversight Maintains a professional and respectful work environment while holding the crew accountable Travels to job sites as required Performs other duties as assigned Requirements / Qualifications 5-10+ years of pile driving experience, including time in a leadership or foreman role Strong understanding of driving criteria, soil behavior, and equipment limits Proven ability to run crews and hit production targets Competency in rigging, signaling, and lift planning Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, pile driving logs, and project specifications Experience with impact and vibratory hammer systems, leads, and associated equipment Experience in marine construction environments (bridges, bulkheads, piers, marinas) preferred Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, inspectors, superintendents, and office staff Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat, humidity, and marine environments Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required OSHA 10 required (within 30 days of employment); OSHA 30 preferred Valid driver's license required Must be willing to travel to job sites as required Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage based on experience and performance, $33.
