We are a 65 year old company that has been providing Manufacturing Services, Distribution Services, and Sourcing/Logistics Services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) from all industries. Mon/Thur General Purpose:
To provide guidance, instruction, and direction to team members for the purpose of achieving manufacturing productivity, quality, and deadline targets.Responsibilities:
Ensure that team members follow defined assembly instructions and comply with all quality and safety procedures. Motivate team members to meet production standards while maintaining organizational quality standards. This should be done before , during, and after completing the build. Ensure all team members for each build understand the required time goal . Assemblers need to understand the goal in order to meet goal and then take action as needed to help coach the team to the goal. Responsible for assembly team growth by providing each team member consistent and sufficient training to perform all the necessary assembly tasks. Trainer will at times step in and show the team members how to execute a specific build. This gives team members a clear expectation of how to complete task in the future. Work synonymously with the quality team to ensure the team is trained on required tooling. Trouble shoot quickly any observed tooling issues. Look for areas for continuous improvement in processes and workflow to enhance productivity and/or quality.Key Skills / requirements:
MUST have prior Training experience with Wire Harness Assembly Ability to lead by example, gain respect from the team while communicating with clarity of what is expected. Attention to detail and ability to Multi-Task. Excellent Communication and People Skills is a must . Problem analysis and problem solving skills. Must have at least one- year prior Trainer experience with wire harness assembly in Manufacturing environment. What We Offer (It's Seriously Good) Incredible PTO
