Heavy Equipment Lifting Specialist Accelera - 3.5 Cedar Rapids, IA Job Details Full-time 5 hours ago Qualifications Crane Certification Commercial truck driving CDL A Full Job Description About the Role As a Heavy Equipment Lifting Specialist, you will be instrumental in executing complex logistical projects and ensuring the precision movement of critical industrial components. You will leverage your expertise in crane operation and load management to drive safety and efficiency across diverse job sites. Responsibilities Execute precise lifting operations using a variety of machinery, including boom trucks and high-capacity equipment up to 350 tons. Facilitate the assembly of crane systems and provide technical support for heavy haul and rigging initiatives. Maintain rigorous safety standards through constant communication with ground crews and active load control. Coordinate with project teams to support operations across commercial, industrial, and local infrastructure sites. Assist in the transport of specialized equipment, ensuring all components are positioned for optimal project success. Contribute to the continuous improvement of site safety protocols and operational workflows. Required Skills Valid CDL Class A license. Current NCCCO certification for crane operation. Demonstrated commitment to job site safety and clear professional communication. Ability to adapt to varying schedules, including potential weekend or holiday requirements. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with RT, AT, hydraulic, and lattice boom crawler cranes. Proficiency in advanced rigging techniques and heavy haul logistics. Experience working in dynamic outdoor industrial environments.
