Job Description

Arey's Pond Boat Yard is a full-service waterfront and boat-building facility on lower Cape Cod, specializing in sailboats, fiberglass repair, high-end finish work, and rigging. We're also a renowned builder of catboats and custom wood and fiberglass vessels. We're looking for a motivated individual with boat handling experience and a genuine love of boats and sailing. While experience is a bonus, what we value most is a hard-working, motivated, and committed attitude. Responsibilities Rig and de-rig sailboats Launch, haul, and trailer boats Deliver vessels by water and land across Cape Cod Set, pull, service, and assemble moorings Assist Head Rigger/Waterfront Manager with rigging repairs, new builds, and waterfront operations Maintain company vessels
Winter:
service spars and rigging, varnish/paint, assist in boatbuilding Requirements High school diploma or GED 2+ years of marine service experience or related training preferred Valid driver's license (towing experience a plus) Preferred Ability to rig any style vessel with confidence and efficiency Knowledge of Pleasant Bay and surrounding waters Experience towing small to medium vessels
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
