Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Woodworker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and preserving high-quality wood boats. Your expertise in operating hand and power tools will be essential to delivering exceptional craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on beautiful wood boats. Duties Operate hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and screwdrivers with precision and safety awareness Use power tools for woodworking including drills, saws, sanders, and other specialized equipment Measure and cut wood materials to specifications Assemble components with delicacy Conduct heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy wood materials or components Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to power tool safety protocols Skills Passion for boats and preserving history Strong knowledge of woodworking Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and effectively Familiarity with woodworking machines such as routers or table saws for fabrication tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes Electrical experience related to wiring a boat is a plus Understanding of safety protocols including power tool safety standards and proper handling of equipment Join us in creating outstanding pieces of art.
