Cable and Wire Harness Assembler Job Description We are seeking skilled Cable and Wire Harness Assemblers to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves interpreting drawings and blueprints for various assemblies, wrapping, crimping, and stripping wires to ensure accurate fabrication. The position requires identifying correct parts, reporting any discrepancies, and conducting tests as per specifications. The work primarily serves the Aerospace and Defense sectors, with a focus on quality over quantity. Responsibilities Interpret and work from drawings and blueprints for assemblies. Wrap, crimp, and strip wires to fabricate assemblies correctly. Identify and report any missing parts or issues with assemblies. Inspect and repair own work as needed. Conduct and document tests on units according to specifications. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience in Cable and Harness Assembly. Proficiency in reading blueprints and diagrams (3-5 years). Experience in crimping and shielding (3-5 years). Additional Skills & Qualifications Any certifications related to cable and harness assembly are a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
