Job Description:
We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious, and mechanically inclined Riggers/Machine Movers to join our team. This position involves safely moving, lifting, loading, unloading, and positioning heavy machinery and industrial equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working as part of a crew in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Rig, lift, move, and position heavy machinery and equipment Select and use the appropriate chains, slings, hoists, jacks, rollers, and other moving tools Assist with loading and unloading machinery from trucks and trailers Secure loads properly for lifting and transportation Inspect rigging equipment, tools, and machinery before each use Assist with basic equipment setup, assembly, and disassembly as needed Use hand and power tools safely Follow hand signals, instructions, lift plans, and all safety procedures Work closely with crane operators, forklift operators, supervisors, and other crew members Identify potential hazards and immediately report unsafe conditions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform other general labor or machine-moving duties as assigned Requirements Rigging certification is required. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Previous rigging, machine-moving, construction, or industrial experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills OSHA 10 certification required Forklift experience is a plus Must be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and ready to work Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions Must be able to work effectively as part of a team Must be able to stand, bend, climb, push, pull, and lift up to 50-75 pounds Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts when needed
Pay:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour
