The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and heavy equipment on construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. This employer pays Medical Health Insurance for employee only. Responsibilities Operate cranes, including but not limited to tower cranes, mobile cranes, and truck-mounted cranes, to lift, move, and position loads as directed. Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to determine lifting plans and ensure safe operations. Conduct pre-operational inspections on cranes and other heavy equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios during lifting operations. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while on the construction site. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including lubricating parts and reporting any mechanical issues. Operate additional heavy equipment as needed, such as dump trucks, water trucks, front loader trucks, and bulldozers. Skills NCCCO current Certification CDL class A Valid License Proficient in heavy equipment operation with a focus on crane operation. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery. Experience operating various types of trucks including dump trucks and water trucks is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety standards. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for precise load handling. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members on-site.
