Full Job Description Wolf Hills Fabricators - Abingdon, Virginia 24210 Wolf Hills Fabricators has an immediate opening for a skilled Crane Service Technician based out of our Abingdon facility. Crane technicians are responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing crane equipment. Duties include diagnosing problems, replacing defective parts, annual crane inspections and installation and assembly of new crane systems. Technicians are trained by OE component manufacturers, should be familiar with operating man lifts, hand tools, basic electronics, and assembly of mechanical components. Welding experience is a plus. Must have industrial maintenance experience. Responsibilities Installation, Service, and Inspection of Cranes Fabrication of Cranes Ability to run equipment such as scissor lift, sky track, etc. Must be able to provide your own tool bag with handheld tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, voltmeter, wire cutter, etc. Willing to work overtime. Willing to travel periodically. Not more than 1 week per month, weekdays only. Must have a valid driver's license. Working with and troubleshooting electrical components on cranes and hoist, etc. Willing to obtain OSHA crane inspection certification Work well with customers.
