Wire Rope & Rigging Location:

Vancouver, WA | Full-time | On-site We are a working wire rope and rigging shop — not a catalog house. We cut, splice, assemble, inspect, and ship slings, wire rope, chain, and lifting hardware for contractors, mills, marine, and industrial accounts. We're hiring Inside Counter Sales to run the counter, phones, and quotes so walk-ins and call-ins both get taken care of. What you'll do Work the counter: greet walk-ins, pull product, get them in and out Quote wire rope, chain, synthetic slings, shackles, hoists, and rigging hardware from email, phone or face to face. Check inventory, mill lead times, and shop capacity before you promise a date Enter and track orders; keep the customer in the loop Maintain accounts in the CRM; follow up on quotes that went quiet Flag anything that looks like a safety or application problem before it ships What you need 1+ year counter sales, inside sales, or customer service in industrial, construction, marine, or similar Comfort with walk-in traffic and phones Ability to read a spec: diameter, grade, construction, WLL, length, end fittings Clean, accurate quoting and order entry High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet at the counter Nice to have Wire rope, sling, or lifting-gear experience Familiarity with

ASME B30, OSHA
