Industrial Shop Technician Superior Lifting Specialists Butler, WI Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off On-the-job training Professional development assistance Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Assembly Manufacturing facility experience Driver's License Materials handling Manufacturing Full Job Description Superior Lifting Specialists is a small, established lifting and rigging company serving construction, manufacturing, and industrial customers throughout Wisconsin. We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Shop Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position working with chain, wire rope, synthetic slings, and industrial lifting hardware. Previous rigging experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, works safely, and wants to learn a specialized trade with the opportunity to grow within our company. Responsibilities Fabricate chain slings, wire-rope slings, and other lifting assemblies Work with hooks, master links, shackles, and other rigging hardware Measure, cut, and assemble chain, wire rope, and related products Operate basic hand tools and shop equipment Prepare customer orders for shipment and pickup Assist with shipping and receiving Organize inventory and lifting hardware Assist with inspections and service work Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop What We Are Looking For Mechanically inclined and comfortable working in a shop/warehouse Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to accurately measure and follow instructions Good work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to safely lift and handle industrial materials Positive attitude and ability to work well in a small team environment Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to make local deliveries and assist with service calls as needed Previous manufacturing, fabrication, construction, mechanical, or industrial experience is helpful, but not required Compensation & Benefits $20 - $22 per hour, depending on experience Overtime opportunities Paid vacation Paid holidays On-the-job training Opportunity for increased responsibility and advancement as experience grows This is not a temporary position . We are looking for someone interested in becoming a long-term member of Superior Lifting and learning about a specialized industry.
