In this role, you will primarily perform hands-on work in residential attics and on roofing systems. Your focus will be on diagnosing and resolving issues related to moisture, ventilation, air sealing, and roof integrity to ensure safety, quality, and durability. Your expertise will help homeowners protect their properties from the elements while enhancing energy efficiency and overall home value. Duties Perform roofing repairs including shingle replacement, and sealing to ensure weatherproof integrity. Repair and improve attic systems relating to insulation, ventilation, air sealing, and leak prevention. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety harnesses in accordance with safety regulations to perform tasks efficiently and safely. Adhere strictly to all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol guidelines to maintain a secure job site environment. Requirements Honesty, reliability and a willingness to learn are required and integral to our work. Carpentry or construction experience with a focus on roofing repair, or attic work is preferred. Knowledge of roofing materials including asphalt shingles, underlayment, and roof anatomy is preferred. Knowledge of attic materials and anatomy including insulation, ventilation, and attic anatomy is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, safely and efficiently is preferred Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred. Strong understanding of safety harness usage, ladder use protocols, and adherence to safety regulations. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and move around in an attic and on a roof. The above technical skills are preferred. We are willing to teach the necessary skills. Pay:
