Duties Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, and other materials. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure roofing components according to project specifications. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Set up ladders and safety harnesses properly while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials such as shingles, metal panels, siding, drywall, or masonry components. Follow all safety protocols diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Support in the installation of siding, stucco, trim carpentry, caulking, tile laying, framing, drywall finishing, masonry work, plumbing tasks, concrete forming, remodeling projects, restoration efforts, and handyman duties as needed. Experience Prior construction experience preferred; familiarity with roofing repair and installation is highly advantageous. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Experience working with construction safety harnesses and ladder use is crucial for maintaining safety standards on-site. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions enhances your ability to perform consistently in this role. Demonstrated understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Hands-on experience with heavy lifting tasks involving roofing materials or other construction components is beneficial.
