We believe employee development is the key to our success. This position installs sheet metal on our commercial roofing jobs for new construction and re-roofing jobs. Responsible for installing roof related sheet metal per contractual plans and specifications, blue prints, local codes and job site requirements.

Essential Duties:

Performs job set-up, material handling and sheet metal installation on assigned jobs. Perform work in accordance with job specifications, company requirements and safety guidelines/policies. Coordinate and communicate with office/superintendent, and field foreman, to ensure sheet metal related items are fabricated and completed in a timely manner. Ensure metal components are fabricated per manufacturers and approved details, and in accordance to contractual specifications, blue prints, local codes. Ensure all required safety procedures are implemented before beginning work. Notify the office/superintendent of any unsafe conditions. Daily housekeeping and upkeep of sheet metal job site must be performed. Acquire tools necessary to perform job at an efficient and productive rate.

Requirements:

2+ years related experience (Preferred) Lift up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis Stand, kneel, bend for long periods of time Climb onto roofs and other elevated surfaces
