Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Metal Stud Framer and become a vital part of creating durable, high-quality structures. In this role, you will be responsible for framing walls, partitions, and ceilings using metal studs, ensuring precise measurements and adherence to blueprints. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life with efficiency and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to remodeling initiatives, in a fast-paced environment that values safety, skill, and teamwork. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute framing layouts. Measure, cut, assemble, and install metal studs and framing components with precision using hand tools and power tools. Ensure proper alignment, plumbness, and levelness of framing structures according to specifications. Collaborate with other trades such as concrete forming, masonry, roofing, and drywall installation to coordinate project phases smoothly. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for lifting or positioning large framing materials safely. Maintain a clean and organized work site by managing materials and tools efficiently. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Experience Proven experience in metal building erection, metal stud framing, or related construction roles. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawings, and schematics for accurate framing execution. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and measuring devices. Familiarity with construction plans involving rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, siding, roofing, and remodeling projects. Ability to interpret technical instructions related to masonry, welding, woodworking, trim carpentry, and restoration work. Prior site experience in construction environments that demand heavy lifting and precise dimensional measurements. Knowledge of safety standards applicable to construction sites and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
