We are looking for someone who wants to grow their career, help build a service department, mentor others, and become a key part of our company as we grow. The right person will be an experienced commercial roofing technician who is comfortable troubleshooting leaks, completing repairs, communicating directly with customers, and taking ownership of their work. Just as importantly, we are looking for someone with the heart to teach and develop others . This position is intended for someone who can lead in the field today and has the potential and desire to take on greater leadership responsibility as MRG grows. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial roof leaks and other roofing issues Perform high-quality repairs on a variety of commercial roofing systems Conduct roof inspections and document existing conditions Identify repair needs and communicate findings clearly Take photos and provide accurate documentation of completed work Communicate professionally with property managers, facility managers, building owners, and other customers Lead and work alongside a service helper or technician Teach and mentor less-experienced team members Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle and work area Follow MRG safety policies and proper roofing practices Represent McCurry Roofing Group professionally on every jobsite What We're Looking For Commercial roofing service and repair experience Strong leak investigation and troubleshooting skills Hands-on experience with multiple commercial roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, coatings, SPF, and/or metal roofing Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Strong communication and customer service skills Ability and willingness to teach, mentor, and develop others Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Dependable, accountable, and professional Safety-first mindset Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for photos, documentation, and communication Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with commercial roofing work The Person We're Looking For Technical roofing knowledge is important, but we are looking for more than technical ability. We want someone who takes ownership of their work, treats customers and coworkers with respect, and understands that how we communicate and treat people is just as important as the work we perform. You don't need to have been a Service Manager before.
