Job Description
Progressive Roofing is seeking Commercial Roofers to install, repair, and maintain roofing systems on industrial, retail, institutional, and government facilities. In this field-based role, you'll handle tear-offs, insulation, membrane installation, flashing, and repairs while following strict safety and quality standards. Work closely with experienced foremen and crews in a hands-on, team-focused environment that emphasizes training, accountability, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems on industrial, retail, and government facilities Perform roof tear-offs, deck prep, insulation, and membrane installation per specifications Follow all safety policies, including fall protection, PPE, and equipment operation standards Operate hand and power tools, ladders, and aerial lifts safely and efficiently Assist with layout, flashing, terminations, and detailing to ensure watertight systems Load, unload, and stage roofing materials; keep jobsite clean and organized Work collaboratively with foremen and crew to meet quality and schedule requirements Participate in training and follow Progressive Roofing standards for workmanship and reliability Required Skills Commercial roofing installation (TPO, PVC, EPDM, built-up, coatings) Roof tear-off and reroof procedures Use of roofing hand and power tools Reading blueprints and roof plans Roof repairs, flashing, and waterproofing Fall protection and ladder/aerial lift safety Material handling and jobsite staging Roof inspections and basic documentation Working at heights and in varied weather Team communication and following directions
