Responsibilities Support roofers by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth workflow on-site Assist with the installation of roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, and membranes Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure roofing components Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, safety barriers, and staging areas Help with site cleanup, debris removal, and organization of materials throughout the project Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements and specifications Skills Experience with construction site work and familiarity with roofing processes Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and caulking guns Ability to operate power tools safely including drills, saws, and nail guns Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights on scaffolding or ladders Basic understanding of construction estimating and project timelines Hands-on experience with related trades like carpentry, masonry, or remodeling is a plus Strong attention to detail in following technical drawings and safety guidelines Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're eager to build your career in construction with a focus on roofing!
