In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be a self-starter and be willing to take action to achieve objectives. You must have a substantial understanding of roofing and sheet metal maintenance and repair processes and methodologies, also possessing superb interpersonal skills. Previous verifiable experience in a customer service is required.

Roofing Service, Maintenance & Repair Technician Responsibilities:

The perfect candidate will have knowledge of TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, Metal Roof, Shingles and Tile roof repairs. This role involves interaction with onsite contacts, professionalism is essential. Complete paperwork / data input (timesheets, service work orders, etc.) in a timely manner Ensure service vehicle contains the necessary tools and equipment to perform assigned jobs for that day. Candidates must be able to diagnose leaks and properly execute repairs per industry standards. Problem-solving and diagnosis of water intrusion. Identify, document, and advise on potential repairs/replacement. Ability to perform physical workload and responsibilities on a daily basis. Ensure that all day-to-day tasks are executed safely and within OSHA compliance. Interacting with and maintaining good relationships with repetative clients, management, and co-workers Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Roofing Service, Maintenance & Repair Technician Requirements:

5 Years Minimum of Commercial Roofing

•Service, Project or Production Management Comprehensive Understanding of Commercial / Industrial Roofing System Design and System Code Compliance Requirements. An Ability to Provide Alternatives and Recommendations to Project Management Reps Prior Experience in Roofing Service Department Preferred. Strong Leadership, Organizational and Communication Skills. Willingness to Learn and Follow Company Systems

•Standard Operating Procedures. Understanding of the Sales Process and Dynamics. Desire to Continuously Improve through Feedback. Able to Work Comfortably in a Fast Paced, Sometimes Stressful Environment. Experience with roofing management software. (i.e. Jobba, Company Cam)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday under Normal Circumstances Extended Hours During Wet Season
