Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of roofs while adhering to all safety regulations and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and techniques, and contribute to high-quality construction projects that stand the test of time. Responsibilities Install and repair roofing systems including asphlat shingle, single-ply membrane roofing, torch down, and tile roofing with precision and attention to detail. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to accurately execute roofing projects. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety harnesses effectively while following all construction safety protocols. Conduct roofing repairs and replacements on various structures, ensuring proper sealing with caulking and trim carpentry techniques. Assist with siding installation, stucco application, metal stud framing, and remodeling tasks as needed. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations including the proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety procedures. Perform heavy lifting safely during material handling and assist in outdoor work environments under varying weather conditions. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair. Familiarity with metal roofing systems, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile laying is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning and resource allocation. Experience interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution. Demonstrated ability to work safely in outdoor environments while following all construction safety standards. Prior experience with siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, heavy lifting, and remodeling projects is a plus.
