Job Title:
Lead Roofing InstallerPosition Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Roofing Installer to oversee roofing installations while working alongside the crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has roofing experience, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead and work alongside roofing crews on residential and commercial roofing projects. Install and repair roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal, tile, TPO, EPDM, and other roofing materials. Read and interpret work orders, and project specifications. Ensure all roofing work meets company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes. Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and best practices. Inspect completed work to verify quality and identify any deficiencies before project completion. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe job site. Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies. Verify that all required tools and materials are available. Communicate project progress, job site issues, and customer concerns to the Roofing Foreman or Project Manager. Assist with troubleshooting installation challenges and implementing effective solutions. Qualifications Proven roofing installation experience. Ability in leading a roofing crew or serving as a crew leader preferred. Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems. Ability to safely use roofing tools, equipment, ladders, and fall protection systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license Ability to lift 75 pounds or more and work at heights in varying weather conditions. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience with storm restoration and insurance-related roofing projects. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Ability to train and develop entry-level installers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
