Join our team and build a rewarding career with an industry leader! Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, hard-working Commercial Roofing Laborer to join our field crew. In this entry-to-mid-level role, you will assist experienced mechanics and foremen with job site setup, material handling, tear-off operations, roof prep, and site clean-up. This position offers excellent opportunities for hands-on learning and career advancement in the commercial roofing trade. Responsibilities Support daily job site operations, including setting up safety perimeters, ladders, and equipment. Load, unload, and transport roofing materials (insulation, membranes, adhesives, tools) to and on the roof deck. Assist mechanics with roof tear-off, scrap removal, deck cleaning, and laying materials. Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas by gathering debris and operating trash chutes or hoists. Handle basic hand tools and power equipment under the supervision of the crew lead. Strictly follow company safety protocols, including harness, lanyard, and OSHA guidelines. Requirements Previous construction, general labor, or roofing experience preferred (entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply). Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to follow directions and learn on the job. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and perform heavy physical labor daily. Comfortable working at significant heights and in varied outdoor weather conditions. Reliable transportation to job sites or the main shop; valid driver's license is a plus. Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
