Job Description
We are a growing residential remodeling company looking for an experienced, dependable remodeling professional to join our team. This is a hands-on field position for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with homeowners, and has the experience and judgment to eventually run residential remodeling projects independently. You will initially work directly alongside the owner on kitchen, bathroom, and other residential remodeling projects. The goal is for the right person to grow into taking ownership of projects in the field, coordinating day-to-day work, communicating with customers and subcontractors, solving problems, and keeping projects moving. Responsibilities Perform hands-on residential remodeling and carpentry work Demolition, framing, drywall/patching, trim and finish carpentry Cabinet and hardware installation Flooring and general remodeling work Read project scopes, measurements, plans, and specifications Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and vendors Communicate professionally with homeowners Identify jobsite issues and develop practical solutions Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites Pick up and manage materials as needed Document project progress and communicate updates Eventually take responsibility for running projects independently in the field What We're Looking For
- Several years of residential remodeling or construction experience
- Broad knowledge of the remodeling process and multiple trades
- Carpentry and general remodeling skills
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions in the field
- Professional appearance and strong customer communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in occupied, high-end homes
- Able to coordinate with subcontractors and other trades
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools You do not need to be a master of every trade.
