Duties Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional shingle roofs. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install roofing materials. Conduct roofing repairs such as caulking, siding installation, and stucco work to ensure weatherproofing and aesthetic standards are met. Safely operate ladders and harnesses while adhering to construction safety regulations and safety protocol adherence. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety procedures. Fabricate roofing components on-site when necessary, ensuring precise fitting according to project specifications. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for yourself and team members. Assist with remodeling projects involving metal stud framing or handyman tasks as needed. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution on outdoor work sites. Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as siding installation or remodeling. Knowledge of roofing repair techniques, metal roofing systems, single-ply membrane roofing, and fabricating materials. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety harnesses in outdoor environments. Understanding of construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, heavy lifting techniques, and construction workplace safety regulations. Experience interpreting technical drawings and working from detailed construction plans. Prior outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred. Handyman experience or background in metal stud framing adds value to your skill set. Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence at all times during project execution.
