Job Description
New Surface Exteriors is looking for an experienced paver installer for residential projects in the Jacksonville area. We primarily do smaller residential jobs such as driveways, patios, walkways, repairs, and extensions. We rarely use heavy equipment. Most of our work is done by hand using wheelbarrows, shovels, and standard paver installation tools. Experience Required Applicants should have actual experience with paver installation, including: Preparing and grading base Using a plate compactor Screeding sand Laying pavers correctly Cutting pavers Installing borders and concrete edge restraint Making repairs and resetting existing pavers Using wheelbarrows and shovels throughout the workday This is physical outdoor work in the Florida heat. You must be dependable, able to work as part of a small crew, and comfortable doing the job without relying on machinery to move materials. We are specifically looking for someone who already knows paver installation. This is not an entry-level position.
