Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine siding installation requirements Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials such as caulking or stucco before siding installation Install various types of siding materials including vinyl, metal, fiber cement, and other exterior cladding products using hand tools and power tools Ensure proper use of ladders and safety harnesses in accordance with construction workplace safety regulations during high-elevation work Perform roofing repairs involving single-ply membrane roofing or metal roofing when required as part of remodeling projects Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites Conduct heavy lifting and fabricating tasks related to siding components while adhering to safety standards Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure precise installation according to project specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area, managing construction tools such as hand tools, power tools, drywall cutters, and caulking guns Skills Proven experience in siding installation, roofing repair, or general construction with a focus on exterior cladding projects Strong knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations governing construction sites Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and fabrication equipment effectively and safely Ability to interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints accurately for precise execution of projects Experience with roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing and metal roofing is highly desirable Familiarity with drywall installation, stucco application, caulking techniques, metal stud framing, remodeling projects, and handyman tasks Outdoor work experience that demonstrates resilience in various weather conditions and physical environments Excellent understanding of construction workplace safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times Join our team today if you're ready to build exceptional exteriors while prioritizing safety and craftsmanship!
