Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Roofing Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with various roofing projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and supporting the installation and repair of different roofing systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and roofing while working outdoors on diverse projects. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new techniques in roofing and general construction. Duties Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete roofing tasks. Set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses according to construction safety regulations. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution. Perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Support siding installation, drywall work, caulking, stucco application, and metal stud framing as needed for remodeling projects. Follow all safety protocols including proper use of fall protection equipment such as safety harnesses and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations. Skills Construction estimating knowledge to assist with project planning and material needs. Proficiency in ladder use, heavy lifting, and the safe operation of hand tools and power tools. Experience with roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and siding installation. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Familiarity with construction safety harnesses and adherence to OSHA or equivalent safety standards. Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on construction site safety regulations. Handyman experience including drywall finishing, caulking, stucco work, fabrication, and remodeling skills.
