Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a certified and experienced Telehandler Operator to join our roofing crew in Pensacola, FL. This position is located on a military base , so candidates must be able to meet all required base-access and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have telehandler operating experience along with roofing/construction experience and be willing to assist the crew as needed. This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can safely operate equipment, follow directions from the foreman, and work well as part of a team. Responsibilities Safely operate a telehandler on an active construction/roofing site. Assist with moving and positioning materials and equipment. Follow instructions from the site foreman and work safely around other trades and crew members. Assist with roofing and general construction tasks as needed. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Follow all site, OSHA, and military-installation safety requirements. Communicate effectively with the foreman and other crew members. Requirements Current telehandler certification and demonstrated operating experience. Previous roofing or construction experience strongly preferred . Ability to follow directions and work effectively under a foreman. Valid driver's license preferred. Must be able to provide valid identification and documentation required for access to the military installation . Must be able to pass the required background check and security screening. Candidates must have no criminal history that would prevent military-base access. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work outdoors and perform physical construction duties. We are looking for someone who is more than just an equipment operator. The right person will be comfortable operating a telehandler while also helping the roofing crew , taking direction from the foreman, and stepping in wherever needed to keep the job moving. Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
