Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and execute complex carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. As a leader on-site, you will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope. Your expertise in various construction disciplines will drive project success and foster a collaborative work environment. Duties Lead and supervise carpentry crews, providing clear direction and mentorship to ensure efficient workflow and quality workmanship Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects Perform and oversee metal building erection, framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, stucco, and masonry work Manage concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, and restoration tasks with precision Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely while maintaining equipment in optimal condition Coordinate with project management on scheduling, material procurement, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards at all times Skills Extensive experience in construction site management with a strong background in carpentry disciplines including frame, trim, drywall, roofing, siding, and metal stud framing Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and performing dimensional measurements with precision Knowledge of metal building erection techniques and concrete forming processes Ability to operate heavy machinery safely for lifting and site preparation tasks Strong understanding of rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, masonry work, plastering, and stucco application Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and interpreting technical instructions effectively Basic math skills necessary for accurate measurements and calculations on-site Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience managing construction teams or projects from start to finish Join us as a Lead Carpenter to bring your expertise into impactful projects that shape communities.
