With top-tier equipment and a reputation for responsive service, we're looking to grow our team with reliable and hard-working framers. Position OverviewWe are seeking dependable, experienced Framers for our operations in Jacksonville. This position is focused on high-efficiency rough carpentry and structural framing across master-planned residential communities and commercial properties. You will spend your day working with power tools, reading blueprints, and constructing wood or metal framework safely and precisely.
Key Responsibilities Framing & Structural Assembly:
Build, erect, and install wall framing, floor joists, roof trusses, and subflooring according to architectural plans and local building codes.Blueprint Reading:
Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to layout dimensions, cut materials accurately, and verify alignments.Jobsite Execution:
Measure, cut, and assemble timber, lumber, or steel components using hand and power tools with speed, precision, and care.Quality & Inspection:
Inspect framing materials for defects, ensuring structures are plumb, square, level, and built to withstand load requirements.Equipment Care & Maintenance:
Safely operate and maintain personal and company framing tools, nail guns, saws, and scaffolding. Report any equipment or safety issues immediately.Safety & PPE:
Adhere strictly to OSHA standards and company safety protocols, including fall protection and mandatory PPE at all times. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Proven experience in residential or commercial rough carpentry and framing is required. Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and layouts accurately. Proficiency with standard framing hand and power tools (e.g., nail guns, circular saws, miter saws). Ability to perform physical labor outdoors continuously, including lifting heavy materials, climbing, and working in varying Florida weather conditions. Punctuality, reliability, strong attention to detail, and ability to work cleanly alongside the general construction crew.Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate:
