ROOFING REPAIR TECHNICIAN

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Roofing Repair Technician to perform residential and commercial roof repairs throughout the Sarasota area. This is a hands-on roofing position for someone who is experienced in diagnosing leaks, identifying roofing deficiencies, and completing professional repairs across multiple roofing systems. Qualifications Experience with residential and commercial roofing systems in Florida Strong working knowledge of shingle, tile, modified bitumen, TPO, and standing seam metal roofing Experienced in diagnosing roof leaks and determining the appropriate repair Ability to perform roof repairs independently and efficiently Physically capable of performing all aspects of roofing work, including carrying 50 lb. bundles of shingles up a ladder Comfortable working at heights and on steep-slope and low-slope roofing systems Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and customers Valid driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record Proficient in connecting, towing, maneuvering, and dumping trailers Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable using CRM software, including JobNimbus , on a company-supplied phone Flexible schedule with the ability to work extended hours when necessary Availability to work alternating Saturdays Responsibilities Diagnose roof leaks and identify the source of water intrusion Perform residential and commercial roof repairs Complete repairs on shingle, tile, metal, modified bitumen, and TPO roofing systems Identify damaged, improperly installed, or deteriorated roofing components Inspect flashing, penetrations, valleys, vents, transitions, underlayment, and other potential problem areas Document roof conditions with detailed photos and notes Complete repair work according to company standards and manufacturer requirements Perform warranty and callback repairs as assigned Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners before, during, and after repairs Protect landscaping, driveways, pools, and surrounding property while performing work Maintain clean and organized jobsites Clean up all roofing debris and materials upon completion Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicle, and assigned materials Pick up and transport roofing materials and supplies when necessary Accurately document completed work in JobNimbus Notify management of additional roofing deficiencies or recommended work discovered during repairs What We're Looking For We are looking for a true roofing mechanic , not simply someone with general construction experience.
