In this role, you will be part of a crew that installs various roofing systems, including modified and single-ply membrane roofing. We're looking for motivated individuals who thrive outdoors, are eager to learn new skills, and are committed to safety and excellence on every project. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of commercial roofing systems following project plans and safety protocols Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to tear off and install new roofing systems Safely operate ladders and construction safety harnesses Perform lifting tasks involving materials like metal sheets, insulation boards, and other roofing supplies Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to construction workplace safety requirements. Follow all safety protocols related to construction site experience including fall protection measures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Experience Prior construction experience or background in roofing or remodeling preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided for motivated candidates Hands-on experience with roofing repair or roofing installation Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, heavy lifting techniques, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations is highly valued Experience working with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, or interpreting technical drawings enhances your fit for this role Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions demonstrates resilience and adaptability in construction environments Previous handyman experience or metal stud framing knowledge can be beneficial for supporting various project needs
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
