The Opportunity We're seeking a motivated and dependable Service Helper to support our Service Department. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals who want to learn commercial roofing, develop technical skills, and grow into a long-term career as a Service Technician. Service Helpers work directly alongside experienced Service Technicians, assisting with roof repairs, maintenance, inspections, and emergency service calls on commercial and multifamily properties. Key Responsibilities Assist Service Technicians with commercial and multifamily roof repairs and maintenance. Load, unload, stage, and organize tools, materials, and equipment. Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites at all times. Follow all Aderhold Roofing safety protocols, including fall protection and OSHA standards. Support roof inspections, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance work. Safely use hand and power tools under supervision. Communicate clearly and professionally with crew members and property staff. Be a dependable team player who contributes to a positive service culture. Support Service Technicians and Managers to ensure service work is completed efficiently and to company standards. Required Qualifications Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Comfortable working on roofs and at heights. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Valid driver's license preferred. Construction or roofing experience is a plus, but not required . Commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
