Job Description
This is hands-on, physically demanding work that requires crawling and working in tight spaces, lifting and carrying materials and equipment, and getting dirty. If working in a crawlspace every day doesn't sound like something you can see yourself doing, this probably isn't the position for you. Adams Exterminators is a growing, family-owned company with multiple locations throughout Southwest Georgia. We're looking for dependable people with a strong work ethic who want more than just their next job. As a member of our Moisture Control team, you will: Spend the majority of your workday working in residential crawlspaces Install crawlspace encapsulation and moisture-barrier systems Install sump pumps, dehumidifiers, and related moisture-control equipment Perform minor modifications to the exterior of homes as needed Work safely and efficiently as part of a crew Learn proper installation techniques and quality standards Take pride in leaving each job completed correctly and professionally Respect our customers' homes and property Properly care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment Perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 pounds Who We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who: Shows up consistently and on time Has a strong work ethic and doesn't shy away from hard physical work Takes pride in the quality of their work Can work effectively as part of a team Is willing to learn and wants to become skilled at what they do Can follow established procedures while taking responsibility for their part of the job Wants an opportunity to grow with a company rather than simply find their next short-term job Is comfortable working in tight, confined crawlspaces on a daily basis Previous experience in construction, installation, HVAC, pest control, landscaping, agriculture, warehouse work, or another physically demanding job is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability and willingness to crawl, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to work All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, acceptable motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
