$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, with start and end times depending on job location and production schedule About the Position Peachtree Home Solutions is hiring a full-time Install Helper to join one of our installation crews. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is dependable, works hard, takes direction well, and wants the opportunity to learn a skilled trade and grow within the company. Our crews perform a variety of residential waterproofing, crawlspace, drainage, and structural repair projects throughout the Atlanta area. You will work directly with an experienced Foreman and Installer while learning our installation methods, equipment, materials, and jobsite standards. Construction experience is helpful, but not required. We are more interested in work ethic, reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn. What You'll Be Doing Typical responsibilities include: Assist the Foreman and Installer with daily installation work Load, unload, organize, and stage materials and equipment Carry materials and tools to and from work areas Assist with excavation, drainage, waterproofing, crawlspace, and foundation repair work Operate basic hand and power tools after training Help maintain a clean and organized jobsite Keep trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment organized Assist with jobsite cleanup and disposal of debris Follow company installation procedures and safety requirements Learn proper installation techniques and progressively take on more responsibility Help complete material and inventory checks when required Types of Projects We Perform Our work can include: Crawlspace encapsulation Basement waterproofing Interior drainage systems Sump pump installations Exterior drainage Dehumidifier installations Structural floor repairs Floor stabilization Foundation wall stabilization Helical pier and anchor systems Retaining walls Other residential waterproofing and structural repairs You are not expected to know how to perform these services when you start. We will train the right person. What We're Looking For The right candidate should: Show up to work consistently and on time Be willing to work hard throughout the day Take direction and accept feedback Work well as part of a crew Be willing to learn new skills Pay attention to details Take care of company tools and equipment Maintain a professional attitude around homeowners Be comfortable working in crawlspaces, basements, outdoors, and other construction environments Be capable of performing physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying construction materials Be comfortable working in hot, cold, muddy, dusty, and confined conditions when required Requirements Reliable transportation to the designated meeting or work location Valid driver's license preferred Ability to perform physical construction work throughout the workday Ability to safely lift and carry materials and equipment Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Dependable attendance Previous construction, landscaping, concrete, waterproofing, plumbing, drainage, foundation repair, or general labor experience is a plus, but it is not required. Pay & Growth Opportunity Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. After successfully completing the initial training period, Install Helpers may become eligible for the company's production bonus program!
