Full-Time | Paid Training | Overtime Available | Advancement Opportunities Job Summary APS Waterproofing is looking for a dependable, hardworking Waterproofing Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on construction position working primarily in crawlspaces, basements, and around residential homes. Our technicians help install waterproofing systems, drainage systems, sump pumps, crawlspace encapsulations, foundation repairs, and other moisture-control solutions. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and is willing to learn. Previous waterproofing, construction, foundation repair, landscaping, plumbing, or other trade experience is helpful, but we provide paid training for the right candidate . Team members who demonstrate strong workmanship, reliability, communication, and leadership have opportunities to advance into Lead Technician and Foreman positions . Key Responsibilities Install residential waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, and foundation repair systems. Load and unload trucks with the materials, tools, and equipment needed for each job. Safely operate hand tools, demolition equipment, and other construction equipment. Excavate soil, remove concrete, install drainage systems, move materials, and perform other physically demanding construction tasks. Work in crawlspaces, basements, and other confined or tight areas. Follow job specifications, installation procedures, and company quality standards. Assist the Foreman and other crew members in completing projects efficiently and correctly. Identify job site issues and communicate them to the Foreman before proceeding with work. Follow all company safety policies and job site safety requirements. Protect customers' homes and property while work is being performed. Keep trucks, tools, equipment, and job sites clean and organized. Complete required job documentation and photographs. Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers and coworkers. Maintain reliable and punctual attendance. Help ensure every customer receives a professional and positive experience. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Is dependable, punctual, and ready to work. Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing quality work. Is comfortable performing physically demanding work. Is comfortable working in crawlspaces, basements, and confined areas. Works well as part of a crew and follows direction. Pays attention to details and job site safety. Can troubleshoot problems and adapt when job-site conditions change. Communicates well with coworkers, supervisors, and customers. Is willing to learn new skills and improve over time. Wants an opportunity to grow into a leadership position. Experience in waterproofing, construction, concrete, landscaping, plumbing, or a similar trade is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements This position involves physical construction work.
Applicants must be able to:
Regularly lift and carry construction materials, tools, and equipment. Bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and work in tight spaces for extended periods. Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions. Perform digging, demolition, material handling, and other physically demanding tasks. Safely operate construction tools and equipment.
