Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems, ensuring safety and quality at every step. Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks Follow construction plans and schematics accurately to ensure proper installation procedures Support the setup and use of safety harnesses, fall protection equipment, and adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, siding components, and insulation materials Assist with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints for roofing projects Help with related tasks such as siding installation, stucco work, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, concrete forming, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, remodeling projects, restoration work, fabrication of materials, and handyman tasks as needed Qualifications Prior construction experience or background in roofing or related trades required Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and blueprint reading Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on construction sites Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently Basic understanding of schematics and technical drawings related to roofing or construction projects Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and quality workmanship Join our team if you're eager to build your skills in roofing while contributing to high-quality construction projects!
