Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Roofer Carpenter to join our construction team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems and related structures on commercial and residential buildings. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute roofing projects. Install a variety of roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, and tile roofing with precision and efficiency. Perform roofing repairs and restoration work to extend the lifespan of existing roofs. Use hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively. Apply siding installation, metal stud framing, caulking, and concrete forming skills as needed for comprehensive roof projects. Adhere strictly to construction safety protocols such as harness use, ladder safety procedures, and workplace safety regulations at all times. Conduct outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately to ensure project specifications are met. Assist with construction estimating tasks when required to support project planning and resource allocation. Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on roofing installation, repair, and maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membrane systems, tiles, and siding options. Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations; experienced in using safety harnesses and ladder use protocols. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately for precise execution. Experience working outdoors in diverse environmental conditions with a focus on safety protocol adherence. Familiarity with construction estimating processes to support project planning when needed. Skilled in caulking, tile laying, metal stud framing, concrete forming, restoration work, and handyman tasks as applicable.
