In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining residential properties to ensure quality standards are met and homeowner satisfaction is achieved. You will play a vital role in managing warranty issues, performing construction inspections, and executing repairs efficiently across a variety of trades. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a broad skill set, and contribute to the overall excellence of our residential construction services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of new homes to identify construction defects, warranty issues, and areas needing repair or finishing work Perform repairs and installations including drywall, trim carpentry, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, roofing, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and concrete forming as needed Utilize hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete repairs accurately and efficiently Read blueprints and construction drawings to ensure proper installation of components such as glass, doors, tile, hardscape features, and fixtures Manage small-scale projects by coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring quality standards are maintained Document all work performed through detailed, web based reports and photographs; communicate effectively with homeowners and team members regarding project status Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all construction activities Qualifications Proven experience in residential construction or remodeling with a strong understanding of building finishing trades. Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction management principles. General knowledge of drywall installation, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, door hanging, roofing, and other finishing trades. Familiarity with electrical systems and plumbing work. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction inspection processes. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; excellent communication abilities. Ability to troubleshoot and determine practical solutions. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
