Must speak English Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial construction or building environments and be comfortable performing a variety of construction, carpentry, installation, and general building tasks. This position is ideal for someone with experience in metal or wood framing, insulation, plywood installation, doors, trim, and other commercial construction work. Key Responsibilities Perform commercial construction and building-related work. Complete metal and wood framing. Install insulation. Hang and install plywood and wall materials. Install doors, windows, and related components. Install and finish trim. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials. Assist with general carpentry, metalwork, and building projects. Assist with equipment, material, and job-site preparation. Follow project instructions and complete assigned work accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE. Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous commercial construction or building experience required. Experience with metal and/or wood framing. Experience with insulation installation. Experience hanging plywood or other wall materials. Experience installing doors, windows, and trim. Comfortable using common hand and power tools. Ability to read a measuring tape and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately. Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 40+ lbs. Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in various positions. Must speak English. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work as part of a team. Work Environment This position may involve both indoor and outdoor work and exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. The work environment may be dusty, dirty, loud, hot, cold, wet, or otherwise physically demanding.
