PM Location:

Based out of 519 W. 14th Street, Traverse City, MI 49684; We will begin by meeting at the office in TC initially, with the goal of growing to taking a company-provided truck home to begin daily routes from your house. We're looking for an experienced, self-sufficient technician to take ownership of jobs in our Northern Michigan territory, with a clear path toward overseeing a full team of your own. Job Summary As a Wildlife Technician, you'll report to our Traverse City office each morning, load your truck, and head out to run your own jobs independently. You'll handle wildlife inspections, humane trapping, and structural exclusion and repair work from start to finish, managing the customer relationship, the work itself, and the documentation. This is not an entry-level or apprentice position. We need someone who can be trusted on a roof or a ladder with minimal oversight from day one, and who has the maturity and experience to represent our company directly to customers. As you settle in, there's room to grow into a role overseeing multiple technicians on a job site. Ideal Background 3+ years of hands-on experience in roofing, siding, general contracting, remodeling, or a related trade Comfortable and confident working at height every day, on ladders and roof lines, without close supervision Able to lift, carry, and set up a 32-ft extension ladder alone Experience running a job or crew independently, whether as a foreman, lead installer, project manager, or similar Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; comfortable driving a company vehicle to job sites solo is a must! Strong communication skills; comfortable talking directly with customers and managing their expectations Handy and mechanically inclined, with solid hand-tool skills No wildlife or pest control experience required. We'll train you on the trapping and inspection side. What we expect you to bring is a confidence working at heights and the maturity to lead a project. What You'll Do Load your truck each morning and run your own route independently Conduct wildlife exclusion work and residential repairs to mitigate future animal entry for our customers.

Perform hands-on repairs:
