Job Description
Job Summary Responsible for installing and maintaining exterior building products, including siding, gutters, soffit, and fascia. The position requires frequent lifting and carrying of materials, working from heavy ladders and at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Employees must be able to work safely and efficiently in extreme weather conditions, including very hot and cold temperatures. This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to consistently meet production and quality expectations. Duties Starting siding and gutter installation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion. Interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and heavy machinery required for siding and gutter work. Install various siding materials such as vinyl, fiber cement, metal panels, and other exterior cladding systems with precision. Install gutters, downspouts, flashing, caulking, trim carpentry, and related components using proper safety protocols including harnesses and ladder safety procedures. Conduct site assessments to determine project scope, measure materials accurately, and estimate construction needs when required. Maintain strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations including proper use of safety harnesses and fall protection equipment. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation, gutter work, roofing repair (including metal roofing), or related exterior finishes. Hands-on experience with roofing systems such as single-ply membrane roofing or heavy roofing materials is a plus. Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, OSHA regulations (or equivalent), and general workplace safety standards. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on commercial or residential sites. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, caulking guns, tile laying tools, masonry tools or related hardware for detailed finishing work. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics during long shifts.
